WHY DONATE TO
UKAA?
UKAA is different from many organizations in many ways. We have a highly effective system of checks and balances:
​1. We have a team in Karachi that is dedicated and honest, with a combined experience of 20 years. They conduct interviews with
scholarship applicants and verify their academic records. Our team collaborates with university personnel to verify the grades of medical and engineering university applicants, and those who
receive awards from other sources are replaced.
2. To ensure accountability, an Endowment Board member
thoroughly reviews the students the Karachi Selection Committee
has chosen for scholarships.​​​​​

3. The utilization of donations has been verified by numerous donors
who have visited Karachi.

4. We do not provide funding to educational institutions for projects; rather, we provide it directly to the vendors who furnish equipment or perform services. We select vendors after evaluating three competitive quotations and typically pay them upon project
completion.
5. Two of our core members visit Karachi at least twice a year, and
other members also make periodic visits. We periodically conduct
inspections to ensure the continued utilization and maintenance of
the equipment we previously provided.
